Cardiorenal Syndrome (CRS) refers to the presence of both cardiac and renal disease at the same time. Initially the patient experiences a cardiac or renal disease, which causes dysfunction, injury or failure in the other.
Patient selection: presence of both cardiac and renal dysfunction or injury
