Calculating the Head Circumference (HC) from the Biparietal Diameter (BPD) and Occipitofrontal Diameter (OFD)

The head circumference is roughly an ellipse.

Parameters:

(1) biparietal diameter in cm (BPD)

(2) occipitofrontal diameter in cm (OFD)

head circumference in cm =

= 2.325 * SQRT(((BPD)^2) + ((OFD)^2))
