Description

Jacobs et al reported the Bastion classification for lower limb injuries caused by an improvised explosive device (IED). This can aid in communication about wounds which can improve patient management. The authors are from military services of the United Kingdom and the United States.


Bastion refers to Camp Bastion which is a military base in Afghanistan
