Description

Fernando et al reported the Australian Injury Comorbidity Index (AICI) for evaluating an injured patient admitted to the hospital. One version uses weighted scores to predict 1-year mortality based on data in Victoria. The authors are from Monash University and the Victorian Agency for Health Information in Australia.
