Interpretation:
• minimum score: 0
• maximum score: 9
• The higher the score the more severe the asthma.
• A score >= 4 indicated a more severe asthmatic episode.
Limitations:
• The responses need to be consistent. For example, definite cyanosis would be unusual for responses of negative wheezing and negative chest retractions.
