Description

Ogilvy et al reported the Aneurysm Recanalization Stratification Scale for a patient who has been treated for a cerebral aneurysm. This can help to identify a patient who may need to be retreated. The authors are from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

Patient selection: cerebral aneurysm treated endovascularly

Parameters:

(1) aneurysm diameter in mm

(2) aneurysm status

(3) thrombosis

(4) treatment method

(5) initial treatment result by Raymond Roy Occlusion Classification (RROC)

• The higher the score the greater the risk for recanalization and need to retreat,
