AMA Criteria for Permanent Impairment Associated with Urethral Disease

Urethral disease can result in permanent impairment that can be quantified using the AMA criteria.

Parameters:

(1) signs and symptoms

(2) need for therapy and its effectiveness

Signs and symptoms of urethral disorder:

(1) dribbling

(2) loss of voluntary urinary control

(3) discomfort on urination
