Description

Hyperparathyroidism may cause impairment that can be measured using the AMA criteria.


 

Parameters:

(1) hypercalcemia and response to therapy

(2) symptoms

 

Symptoms:

(1) nausea and vomiting

(2) polyuria

(3) lethargy, with coma in severe cases

(4) constipation

(5) bone pain

(6) renal calculi

(7) renal failure
