Vang and Shih reported an algorithm for evaluating serous tubal abnormalities of the fallopian tube. This can help to properly classify this challenging problem. The authors are from the Johns Hopkins University.
Parameters:
(1) morphology
(2) p53
(3) Ki-67
STIC = serous tubal intra-epithelial carcinoma
STIL = serous tubal intra-epithelial lesion
p53 signature = precursor to STIC, with >= 12 consecutive secretory cells showing strong stianng for p53
