Description

A series of equations are used for the Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) to estimate a child's body weight from age. These may be updated over time to reflect population shifts.

< 1 year

((age in months) + 8) / 2

1 to 5 years

5 to 14 years

(3 * (age)) + 7
