Complications:
(1) blindness
(2) facial disfigurement
(3) keloid formation
(4) deafness
(5) difficulty eating, drinking or breathing
(6) alopecia
(7) poverty
(8) depression and/or suicide
Acid may also be poured on the property of victim, such as an automobile.
