Description

The number of molecules present in the weight of a compound can be calculated if the molecular weight of the compound is known.

= number of molecules in one mole of a substance =

 = 6.022045 * (10 ^ 23)

number of molecules of a substance present =

= (weight of compound present) / (molecular weight) * (Avogadro's number)
