Description

Duval et al developed a score for predicting peripheral artery disease (PAD) in an adult. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from additional testing. The authors are from REACH Registry Investigators from multiple institutions in the United States and France.


 

Patient selection: adult >= 45 years of age

 

Parameters:

(4) diabetes

(5) body mass index (BMI) in kilograms per square meter

(6) hypertension

(7) current smoking

(8) coronary artery disease (CAD)

(9) cerebrovascular disease

(10) congestive heart disease (CHF)
