Description

Singer et al developed a scale for evaluating the appearance of a healed scar. The authors are from Stony Brook University in New York and the University of Pennsylvania.

(1) maximum width of the scar in mm

(2) level relative to the adjacent skin

(3) coloration

(4) hatch markings

(5) overall appearance
