Description

Based on gender and data collected during exercise testing, it is possible to predict the risk (low, intermediate, or high probability) of left main or triple-vessel coronary artery disease in a patient.

Variables:

(1) gender (male or female)

(2) distance of exercise-induced ST-segment depression ( < 1 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm)

(3) exercise ejection fraction (from 0.30 to 0.80)

(4) exercise ((heart rate) • (systolic blood pressure)) product (from 10,000 to 30,000)

Lines separate probability zones for left main or triple-vessel coronary artery disease:

(1) low probability

(2) intermediate probability

(3) high probability
