dry air	humidify the air
dry skin	moisturize the skin
wearing polyester or other synthetic material associated with a negative charge	wear cotton
ungrounded	grounded
rapid rubbing or shuffling (friction activities)	avoiding friction, especially when in an environment conducive to static electricity
