Description

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) uses a coding scheme to classify the severity of an injury and its outcome. This can be used to separate malpractice claims into similar impact groups.

Limitations:

• Having only 1 entry for emotional injury seems to lump mild and serious reactions.
