Eisbruch et al reported 2 simplified grading systems for describing patients with radiotherapy-induced xerostomia. These are meant to be clinically meaningful. The authors are from the University of Michigan, the University of Minnesota, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Hospital, Vanderbilt University, The Netherlands Cancer Institute, Harvard University and Duke University.
