Description

Behrend et al developed the Forgotten Joint Score to evaluate the outcome following placement of a prosthetic joint. The ultimate goal of joint replacement is for the patient to totally forget that there is a prosthetic joint. The authors are from Kantonspital St. Gallen in Switzerland and Innsbruck Medical University in Austria.

Interpretation:

• minimum adjusted score: 0

• maximum adjusted score: 100 (normal)

• The higher the score the more likely that the patient has forgotten about the prosthetic joint.
