Description

Sexual dysfunction as a result of neurologic disease may result in permanent impairment that can be quantified using the AMA criteria. Patients in this group typically have spinal cord injury or severe neuropathy.


 

Parameters:

(1) ability to achieve orgasm

(2) sexual response (lubrication in women; erection or ejaculation in males)

(3) awareness and excitement
