Description

A number of conditions can cause an object to appear greenish in color (chloropsia).


 

Causes of chloropsia:

(1) drugs including cardiac glycosides, barbiturates, iodide, nalidixic acid and quinine derivatives

(2) santonn

(3) toxins

 

A compound is implicated if the change in color perception occurs after exposure and disappears after an exposure ceases.
