Description

Tada et al reported a score for evaluating the patient after surgery for radial polydactyly (duplicate thumb).

Patient selection: radial polydactyly

Parameters:

(1) range of motion in degrees based on sum of active movements of the (a) interphalangeal and (b) metacarpophalangeal joints

(2) instability (joint stability)

(3) malalignment (coronal alignment, presumably in degrees) of thumb
