Kreusser et al reported the HeiRisk (Heidelberg Risk) score for patients with cardiac amyloidosis. This can help to predict survival. The authors are from University of Heidelberg, and DZHK (German Center for Cardiovascular Research).
Patient selection: heart failure with AL or ATTR cardiac amyloidosis
AL patient at high risk - both of the following:
(1) mean pulmonary artery pressure > 22.5 mm Hg
(2) serum hsTNT> 58.5 pg/mL
ATTR patient at high risk - at least 2 of the following:
(1) QRS > 104 ms
(2) serum NT pro-BNP > 6330 ng/L
(3) serum hsTnT> 55 pg/mL
If the patient is not high risk, then the patient is designated moderate risk. There are no low risk patients.
