(1) peptic ulcer disease

(2) caustic ingestion

(3) acute or chronic pancreatitis

(4) Crohn's disease

(6) eosinophilic gastroenteritis

(7) inflammatory fibroid polyp (Vanek's tumor)

(8) tuberculosis

(9) cytomegalovirus (CMV)

(10) cryptosporidium

(11) annular pancreas

(12) adult hypertrophic pyloric stenosis

(13) duplication cyst

(14) amyloidosis

(15) Bouveret's syndrome

(16) bezoar

(17) NSAID associated stricture or ring

(18) postvagotomy

(19) post-operative scarring or anastomotic stricture

(20) endoscopic mucosal resection

(21) adenoma

(22) lipoma

(23) gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST)
