(1) uterine bleeding, which may be severe and prolonged
(2) fatigue and other complications of iron deficiency anemia (secondary to the bleeding)
(3) pain and discomfort
(4) symptoms related to pelvic pressures (may compress bowel, bladder or other structures)
(5) social limitations
(6) work limitations
(7) embarrassment and/or anxiety
