The management of a patient with hemophilia is often multi-dimensional. A number of supportive measures referred to as RICE can help control episodes of joint or other hemorrhage.
Patient selection: hemophilia A or B
Adjunctive support measures:
(1) R = rest
(2) I = ice
(3) C = compression
(4) E = elevation
