Adnexal Torsion Diagnosis Score - Medical Algorithm

Huchon et al developed a score for predicting adnexal torsion in a woman with acute pelvic pain. The authors are from multiple hospitals in France.

Patient selection: woman with acute pelvic pain

Parameters:

(1) leucorrhea and metrorrhagia

(2) diameter of a cyst on ultrasound

(3) duration of pain in hours

(4) vomiting

(5) nature of pain
