Patient status:

(1) shock on admission

 

Liver injury:

(1) major trauma to the liver

 

Injury of other organs:

(1) injury to the colon

(2) > 3 abdominal organs injured

(3) splenectomy

(4) gunshot wounds

 

Therapy-related:

(1) blood transfusion

(2) open drainage of the abdomen

(3) use of liver packs
