(1) stallion
(2) wild (unbroken)
(3) illness
(4) confused
(5) stressed or irritable
(6) presence and type of horseshoes (war horses used to have special horseshoes to harm infantry)
Human-related:
(1) young girls (adolescent or younger) or young to middle aged males
(2) intoxicated
(3) not wearing a helmet or protective equipment
(4) coming up unexpectedly from behind
(5) inexperienced with horses
Activity-related:
(1) riding
(2) rodeo
(3) jumping
(4) shoeing
(5) tending to the horse
