Description

Reducing or enlarging a recipe for a solution is done by changing the proportions of the components.

If a certain volume (or weight) of a solution (or mixture) is composed of N components, then:

amount of each component to use in grams =

= (amount of the component used in the original recipe) / (volume of final solution in mL) * (volume of solution needed in mL)

pH for the solutions would be the same across the batches.
