Evaluation

Are you evaluating a pediatric patient with one or more enlarged lymph nodes?

Does the patient have localized lymphadenopathy that persists or progresses?

Number of weeks that lymphadenopathy has been present

Does the patient have a localized lymphadenopathy that has not responded to antibiotic therapy?

Is the enlarged lymph node firm and nontender?

Diameter of lymph node

Is the enlarged lymph node in the supraclavicular or epitrochlear region?

Does the patient have B symptoms (fever, night sweats, malaise)?

Does the patient have hepatosplenomegaly?
