Basic clinical examination
(1) medical history
(2) history of occupational and environmental exposures
(3) physical examination
(4) routine ophthalmologic exam
Additional clinical tests:
(1) posteroanterior chest X-ray
(2) spirometry and DLco (pulmonary function assessment)
(3) ECG
(4) tuberculin skin test
Laboratory testing:
(1) CBC
(2) serum chemistry tests (creatinine, BUN, calcium, liver function panel)
(3) urinalysis
