Description

Maron et al listed recommendations for physical activity and sports participation for patients with a genetic cardiovascular disease. The authors are from American Heart Association Committee on Exercise, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention.


Genetic disorders considered:

(1) hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HM)

(2) long QT syndrome (LQT)

(3) Marfan's syndrome (MS)

(4) arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC)

(5) Brugada syndrome (BS)
