Baik et al listed criteria for rating impairment in a patient with an anal disorder. This was one several rating systems developed by the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences.

progressive liver disease or cirrhosis with Child-Pugh grade B or C

2 or 3 episodes in past year of hepatic encephalopathy, spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, variceal bleeding

35 to 49%

progressive liver disease or cirrhosis with Child-Pugh grade B or C

4 or more episodes in past year of hepatic encephalopathy, spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, variceal bleeding

50 to 74%

progressive liver disease or cirrhosis with Child-Pugh grade B or C

one or more of the following not controlled by medical care: refractory ascites, chronic hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, hepatopulmonary syndrome
