Lowe's formula for body surface area is simple but less accurate.

= (0.1 * ((weight in kilograms)^(0.66)))
For neonates, 0.103 is used instead of 0.1.
Maxwell shows that Lowe's formula gives a body surface area 10% less than Dubois formula.
