Lower Extremity Function Grades | Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy

Vignos et al developed a scale for evaluating hip and lower extremity function in a patient with muscular dystrophy.

Parameters:

(1) climbing stairs

(2) rising from a chair

(3) walking

(4) other

The higher the grade the greater the impairment.
