Purpose: To estimate the left ventricular mass of a normotensive adult based on gender, height and weight based on the equations of de Simone et al.

Description

De Simone et al developed several equations for predicting left ventricular mass in normotensive adults. The authors are from Cornell University and Albert Einstein Medical School in New York City, University of Cincinnati and 2nd Medical School in Naples, Italy.
