(1) age in years

(2) hemoglobin in g/dL

(3) platelet count per microliter

(4) beta-microglobulin

(5) serum monoclonal IgM protein

Interpretation:

• minimum IPSS: 0

• maximum IPSS: 5

• The higher the score the worse the prognosis.
