Has there been a rise in serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) from baseline?

Yes

Did the serum PTH return to baseline within 2-4 months of discontinuation of sunitinib therapy?

Is urine calcium excretion decreased during sunitinib therapy?

Yes

Is there serum hypophosphatemia during therapy?

Yes

Is there another diagnosis that can explain the findings better?

Yes

Purpose: To identify a patient with hyperparathyroidism associated with sunitinib (Sutent) therapy.
