Thomas et al reported the Guy's Stone Complexity Scoring System for patients with nephrolithiasis. The authors are from Guy's and St. Thomas' National Health Service Foundation Hospital in London.

The grade correlates with stone-free rate following percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL).
