Description

Arm disability in Guillain-Barre Syndrome can be graded on a scale. This can be used for initial diagnosis and to monitor the patient over time.


 

Parameters:

(1) clinical signs and symptoms

(2) ability to put the hand on top of the head while sitting with the head upright

(3) ability to oppose thumb to each fingertip on the hand
