Janke et al identified factors impacting the life satisfaction for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). Factors affecting life satisfaction for a patient with Crohn's disease:

Factors affecting life satisfaction for a patient with ulcerative colitis (UC):

(1) psychiatric disorder
