Description

The original Fujita-Pearson tornado scale has been expanded to take into account wind forces projected to occur as a result of global warming.


 

Scales EF0 to EF5 are the same as for F0 to F5 in the original scale (previous section).

where:

• The intensity phrases seem a bit bizarre.

• The original F scale topped off with an F6 wind speed at >= 319 mph, and was termed inconceivable.
