EULAR developed a disease activity index for primary Sjogren's syndrome called the ESSDAI. This consists of 12 subscores measuring various components of disease activity. The authors are from the European League Against Rheumatism Sjogren's Task Force.
Patient selection: primary Sjogren's syndrome
Exclude: lymphadenopathy due to infection or other cause
Parameters for lymphadenopathy subscore:
(1) maximum non-inguinal lymph node diameter in cm
(2) maximum inguinal lymph node diameter in cm
(3) splenomegaly (palpable or on imaging study)
(4) malignant B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder
