Description

EULAR developed a disease activity index for primary Sjogren's syndrome called the ESSDAI. This consists of 12 subscores measuring various components of disease activity. The authors are from the European League Against Rheumatism Sjogren's Task Force.

Patient selection: primary Sjogren's syndrome

Parameters for cutaneous subscore:

(1) erythema multiforme

(2) cutaneous vasculitis (including urticarial vasculitis)

(3) purpura

(4) subacute cutaneous lupus

Stable long-standing skin changes are graded as "no activity".
