Description

The risk of mortality following isolated coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery can be estimated based on preoperative factors. The score was developed by the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Association of Thoracic Surgery and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

Parameters:

(1) age

(2) gender

(3) diabetes

(4) COPD

(5) peripheral vascular disease

(6) dialysis

(7) serum creatinine

(8) time from myocardial infarction

(9) history of prior CABG surgery

(10) left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)

(11) 3 vessel disease

(12) occlusion in left main coronary artery

(13) white blood cell (WBC) count

(14) timing of surgery
