Description

The cytoplasmic granules within a neutrophil may become larger and more prominent in sepsis or other acute reactive processes. This change is termed toxic granulations.


 

Parameters:

(1) size of cytoplasmic granules

(2) percent of neutrophils showing toxic granulations
