The Splendore-Hoeppli phenomenon may be seen with a number of conditions.
Fungal infections:
(1) sporotrichosis
(2) pityrosporum
(3) zygomycosis
(4) candidiasis
(5) aspergillosis, including bronchocentric granulomatosis
(6) blastomycosis
(7) pythiosis
Bacterial infections:
(1) nocardiosis
(2) actinomycosis
(3) botryomycosis
Parasitic infections:
(1) Schistosoma eggs
(2) cutaneous larva migrans
(3) strongyloidiasis
(4) other
Other causes:
(1) an intert foreign body (silk suture, other)
(2) hypereosinophilic syndrome
(3) allergic conjunctival granulomas
