The Common Toxicity Criteria (CTC) define adverse events following cancer therapy. It was designed for use in clinical trials of different therapeutic regimens.
Cardiac arrhythmias:
(1) conduction abnormalities (atrioventricular heart block)
(2) nodal or junctional arrhythmia
(3) palpitations in the absence of cardiac arrhythmia
(4) prolonged QTc interval (> 0.48 seconds)
(5) sinus bradycardia
(6) sinus tachycardia
(7) supraventricular arrhythmia (supraventricular tachyarrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter)
(8) vasovagal episode
(9) ventricular arrhythmia (premature ventricular contractions, bigeminy, trigeminy, ventricular tachycardia)
(10) other cardiac arrhythmia
NOTE: Syncope is graded under the Neurology criteria.
