Kostis et al used treatment intensity as a marker for the severity of angioedema. This can be used to grade the clinical severity of an episode. The authors are from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Creighton University, University of South Carolina and the Allergy Research Foundation (Los Angeles).
